MEMBERSHIP – $40 (full), $30 (concession) or $10 (youth) paid annually

We are a small, non-profit organisation. Paid memberships not only help finance writing events and publications like our annual Anthology, they ensure we survive.

Benefits of Geelong Writers membership include:

  • Discounted fees for competitions, workshops and other Geelong Writers events

  • Free promotion of members’ publications on our website, in our newsletter and on social media
  • Opportunities to have work published on our website and social media
  • Access to Writers Victoria benefits, on a first come, first served basis:
    • Writers Victoria events: one member of the group can take advantage of the discounted rate per event.
    • Writers Victoria manuscript assessment service: one member of the organisation can access the discounted rate per year of membership.
  • Access to all other Writers Victoria services including use of the library and Writers Victoria staff advice and information.

The membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June.
