Guidelines for Uploading Files

Submissions are limited to three poems.

Only submit original, unpublished poems that are not under consideration elsewhere.

naXOs is an A5 publication. We prefer shorter poems that fit on 1-2 A5 pages. Please consider text readability on images when submitting your work.

For each poem you are submitting, please upload the following files:

1. a Word document (a DOC or DOCX file) containing the poem’s text

2. and, if you are submitting a concrete (visual) poem, a mockup of your poem as a PNG or JPG file.

We prefer images to be submitted in A5 size. 148 x 210 millimeters (5.83 x 8.27 inches). In pixels, this equals 1748 x 2480 px for high-quality printing (300 DPI).

Please do not include multiple poems in an individual file.

Please name each file to be uploaded with a prefix that includes your first initial and surname, then the poem number e.g., MSmithPoem1.jpg.

Any images incorporated with or attached to poems must be the poet’s own work or otherwise attributed. Please include attribution details in the Other Comments field.
